We feel that introducing ads might lead to a situation similar to mobile games, where constant prompts for in-game purchases disrupt the gaming experience. Many gamers prefer to escape into fictional worlds where advertising does not exist. Will we see in-game challenges that require us to engage with brands, or worse, pay for the privilege of playing without ads?

Developing an ad-based model could lead to a slippery slope of increasing ad density in games.
