Switch 2 is getting the entire Kingdom Hearts series in October

Square Enix has set a date for Kingdom Hearts on Switch 2

Square Enix has announced that three Kingdom Hearts collections are coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The release date is October 8, and a bundle containing all three collections will also be available that day.

Together, the collections are meant to bring Switch 2 players up to date with the series. Square Enix also said a free demo of Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind will be available later today on the Nintendo eShop.

Square Enix previously released the series on the original Nintendo Switch as cloud editions, meaning they had to be streamed. The company says players who bought those versions can carry over their save data to the native Switch 2 editions.

The announcement also comes alongside new gameplay from Kingdom Hearts 4. Square Enix confirmed that game will be available on Switch 2 on day one.
