Fallen City Brawl Heads to PS5 and Nintendo Switch With Physical Editions This Fall

Fallen City Brawl Console

Classic arcade brawler fans will soon have another reason to clear shelf space. Publisher SelectaPlay and developer Fallen City Studio have announced that Fallen City Brawl is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in fall 2026, with both Standard and Limited Special Edition physical releases planned.

Designed as a throwback to late ’80s and early ’90s arcade beat ’em ups, Fallen City Brawl leans heavily into crunchy pixel art, side-scrolling street fights, and fast, hard-hitting combat. It’s the kind of old-school experience that feels tailor-made for physical media, whether on disc or cartridge.

Physical Editions for Collectors and Brawler Fans

Players will be able to choose between two physical editions when Fallen City Brawl launches on consoles.

The Standard Edition includes the full game, packaged with bold character artwork inspired by the neon-lit streets and gritty atmosphere of the game’s world.

For collectors, the Limited Special Edition offers a more premium presentation. Alongside the physical copy of the game, the edition includes a collector’s box with exclusive artwork, an iron-on patch, a character sticker pack, and a lenticular arcade joystick keychain inspired by classic coin-op machines. It also features the original soundtrack on CD, allowing fans to take the game’s music beyond the screen.

Supplies of the Limited Special Edition will be strictly limited.

Old-School Combat With Modern Polish

Fallen City Brawl centers on four unlikely fighters battling through a city consumed by chaos and criminal violence. The game features seven arcade-inspired stages, oversized character sprites, and animated city backdrops that evoke the golden era of beat ’em ups.

Combat is built around a deep hand-to-hand system that includes combos, grapples, counters, air throws, parries, special moves, and screen-clearing “RIOT” supers. Players can also wield a wide range of weapons, from pipes and bats to firearms and chainsaws, while calling in upgradeable mercenary support for devastating backup attacks.

Adding a unique twist to the genre, players can command a wolf companion during combat, creating additional opportunities for crowd control and stylish finishes. The game supports solo play as well as local co-op, with animated cutscenes and a hard-driving soundtrack composed by Daniel Lindholm tying the experience together.
